the process
A standard set of architectural plans are the requirement
to start the project, these can either be hard copies
or as is more commonly the case today, electronic
copies.
We use a 3D CAD modelling process to analyse the
design of the timber frame. From this we produce
manufacturing drawings and a cutting list which
is ready to be fed directly to a CNC optimising
saw.
The panels are produced in our workshop and are
stacked in order ready for transportation and assembly
when on site.

Following completion of ground works for the structure
on site, the panels arrive and can be quickly erected
to form a completed structure for the follow on
trades.
We aim to provide a turn-key service for our customers.
After receiving a set of architectural plans for
the property we can provide:
Since the intermediate floors provide an integral
part of the structure in platform construction,
we recommend the use of engineered timber I Beams
which provide much greater dimensional accuracy
and stability.
Normally we undertake the design and supply of
the floor and trussed roof as part of our supply
package.
If we are contracted to erect the structure for
the developer then the frame panels, floor structures
and trussed roof are erected ready for the following
trades to continue.
‘We aim to provide the developer with an
alternative to conventional construction that surpasses
all present building regulations and provides genuine
environmental and economic advantages.’
